TASC (Beyond Boot Camp)

What does TASC stand for...

Challenge your level of fitness (whatever that may be) and enjoy the atmosphere of group dynamics. Yes it is true that bootcamps entail hard physical exercise, and yes the instructor will push you to your limits (whatever those are) and yes you will get results with this type of training. Our bootcamps are designed to incorporate all components of fitness in a safe environment (inside or outside) with use of various pieces of equipment (that we supply). Functional, fun and affordable!

Yoga

Yoga: Included in full membership price.

Yoga translates to the union of BODY, MIND and SPIRIT which coincides nicely with the mission statement of Total Fitness. The club currently offers FITFLOW YOGA, which is Hatha and Ashtanga based. It is the focus on the physical discipline to link or flow the asanas (poses) together; coordinated with breath. It is a series of postures, which focus on improving strength and flexibility (both physically and mentally). Benefits to the participant includes:

  • Improved concentration and focus.
  • Improved balance (physical and mental)
  • Improved range of motion/flexibility.
  • Improved sport performance.

Class currently offered Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Included in the regular gym membership fee. Non-members pay $10 drop in.

Meal Planning

If you are at the point where you WANT or NEED to change your lifestyle habits and need some direction on what to eat, then this would be your first step. A consultation generally is a 45 minute sit down session reviewing your current eating habits, discussing personal goals and discussing the recommendations of a personalized nutrition program.

After a nutritional consultation it will be determined that a menu plan is recommended to direct a client towards a balanced eating plan. With considerations of personal obstacles and potential likes/dislikes, a daily or weekly menu plan will be designed to coincide with the exercise program to maximize results. Appointments must be pre-booked and prepaid.

Squash

Enjoy a game with your friends, included with Basic Membership OR Punchcards available. $10 drop in fee.
